CNC3D was founded in 2017 on the Gold Coast, Queensland, by people who use CNC machines every day.
We design and supply CNC routers, plasma cutters, laser engravers, controllers, and the software that runs them. Over the years, we've worked with thousands of makers, hobbyists, and businesses, giving us a unique insight into the challenges they face as they grow.

Why CNC3D Business
Most CNC software seems to fall into one of two categories: pay thousands of dollars for an enterprise licence, or rely on a collection of spreadsheets and disconnected tools that may or may not work when you need them most.
We weren't particularly happy with either option, so we built our own solution.
As time went on, customers kept asking us the same question: “How should I manage the business side of CNC?” That's when we realised the problem wasn't limited to machine control. The same gap existed in quoting, job management, customer communication, invoicing, and finding new work.
