CNC3D was founded in 2017 on the Gold Coast, Queensland. We make CNC routers, plasma cutters, laser engravers, controllers and the software that runs them. CNC3D Business is the next chapter: software for the businesses our customers are building around their machines.
The short version
Most CNC software is either “pay $5,000 for the enterprise license” or “hope this random spreadsheet doesn't corrupt itself.” We weren't happy with either, so we built our own. Then customers kept asking us how they should run the business side, and we realised the same thing was true there.
CNC3D Business is the answer. One platform that handles the customer side, the production side, the money side, and a marketplace so makers can find work and buyers can find makers. Free where it should be free, paid where the value is undeniable.

Australian-owned, Gold Coast HQ. Customer support is real humans you can actually email. Two-time-zone-away enterprise sales doesn't fly here.
Free where it matters
Posting jobs as a buyer is free. The desktop apps are free. We charge for the fabricator side and the back-office because that's where the real commercial value is.

- CNC3D Design Suite. Free CAM and toolpathing software with vector tools. Built for the way real CNC shops actually work.
- CNC3D Business. This platform. Clients, jobs, billable time, stock, equipment, invoicing, marketplace. Three tiers: Free / $50 Business / $150 Business Plus.
- CNC hardware. Through our sister site cnc3d.com.au: QB2 router, Metal Storm, Nighthawk controller, full range of spindles, VFDs, endmills.
